Philip Christman, with his wife, the theatre scholar and playwright Ashley Lucas, lives in Durham, North Carolina, where he is working on a novel. He holds an MA in English Literature from Marquette University and an MFA in fiction writing from University of South Carolina-Columbia. During 2010-11 he taught English composition and poetry writing at North Carolina Central University, the nation’s oldest public historically black college. Since 2009 he has served as Writing Coordinator at MURAP, a summer program that prepares outstanding minority undergrads for graduate school in the humanities. (His CV is posted under the fourth tab above.) He also works as a writing coach (see third tab) and serves on the vestry of St. Titus Episcopal Church. His writing has appeared in Paste,AnnalemmaBooks & Culture, Identity Theory, The Christian Century, The Mercy Review, NWSA Journal, and other places.   2. I like how your website is now easier to navigate. I don’t know how long it has been like this but from just coming back to be nosy after a few weeks its nicely updated, and also you have a lot of awards, publications, and honors. Which might be the same as awards, I don’t know. But good day to you sir.
